Overview
This policy describes the terms under which Frigidaire Appliance Repair handles service-appointment cancellations, refunds, and returns of replaced parts. We want every customer to feel confident scheduling a repair.
Cancellation Policy
- Before the technician departs: You may cancel any scheduled appointment at no charge by contacting us at least 2 hours before the appointment window.
- After the technician arrives: A diagnostic fee applies once the technician begins work. This fee covers the cost of travel, inspection time, and the written estimate you receive.
- How to cancel: Call (305) 555-0142 or email [email protected].
Refund Policy
- Diagnostic fee: The diagnostic/service-call fee is non-refundable once the technician has performed the inspection and provided a written estimate.
- Labor and parts (approved repairs): If a completed repair does not resolve the diagnosed issue within the warranty period stated on your invoice, we will re-service the appliance at no additional labor cost. If we are unable to resolve the issue, we will refund the labor portion of the charge.
- Parts covered by manufacturer warranty: Defective replacement parts that fail within the manufacturer’s part warranty are replaced at no charge for the part itself; labor for reinstallation may apply depending on the warranty terms stated on your invoice.
- Processing time: Approved refunds are processed within 7–10 business days to the original payment method.
Returns of Replaced Parts
- Original parts removed during a repair are available for customer inspection at the time of service.
- If you would like to retain removed parts, please inform the technician before the repair begins.
- New parts that have been installed cannot be “returned” in the retail sense, because installation voids resale eligibility. Warranty coverage applies instead (see Refund Policy above).
Estimates & Approval
No repair work begins until you receive and approve a written estimate. You are never obligated to proceed. If you decline the repair after the diagnostic visit, only the diagnostic fee applies.
Disputes
If you believe a charge is incorrect or a repair was not performed as described, contact us within 30 days of service at [email protected] or (305) 555-0142. We will review the service record and work toward a fair resolution.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The version on this page is always the current version. Material changes take effect for appointments scheduled after the revision date.
